Every once in a while, you thought of her. It wasn’t often. It was only once every few days. Which is more than you thought about some people, but less than you thought about Rose, so you rationalized it. Then again, it was hard not to think about Rose when she wouldn’t stop (as much as you hated to use the term, all connotations considered) meddling.
