so today at therapy i asked my counsellor for ways to combat my anxiety if i ever feel it showing its face whilst i’m out by myself, and he said to make little flash cards with reassuring stuff on them that makes me feel better so i made these and they’re kind of lame but yeah i thought if anyone else needed them

I’m actually tearing up because I needed this today

this is another reason why I adore this fandom

i actually printed these out and put them around my room to boost my self esteem :)

equius did the best work of cheering me up.

does anyone else find it touching that despite what Wheatley did to Chell (tried to kill her), in the end when the portal opens up and wheatley is about to fall through, Chell immediately crawls from the corner and catches hold of him? I don’t know, maybe it was just a instinctive response but that part made me cry. 

you know, at first i thought she was pulled into the portal but i had to watch again a few times and she SCRAMBLED FOR HIM WHY

i think like?? putting any debatable stockholm syndrome-ish thingies aside
she only really knew two people since she woke up
and who knows depending on some theories those might be the only two sentient figures she remembers?? so i think
like wheatley was a complete ass and made a much more…. aggressive?? forward? attempt at killing chell but thats kind of her normal
he was the first one to treat her with any dignity besides the few accidental insults but those are more humourous than anything
glados was her first enemy and all and didnt really show her any respect, ever
wheatley was the first person to recognize she could get sh*t done?? so yeah probably like an instinctual “you were the only non crazy dude for like 4.2 seconds get back here” deal
but yeah prob instinct
